What Kind of Polyhedron Are You?

As you prepare for our next session...In the spirit of full disclosure, my results are below. Strangely, it is fairly accurate. Especially about the dice. I've always had a particular fondness for the d4.

You are a d4: You are bright, perceptive, and driven. You would be considered a blessing to mankind, if you didn't insist on using your powers for evil. You are devious, deceitful, doubtful, and downright dangerous. Assassins can learn a lot from you. If your fellow party members knew how rotten you were, they'd go over and join the bad guys. Justified or not, you are meticulous in your ways: A poison for every person, and a dagger for every back. Much of your day is spent scheming or plotting. The rest of your time is spent trying to convince others that you're simply misunderstood.

I am a d4

Fun quiz! I got the devious d$ too. "Wand of Wombats". That cracked me up!

See you tonight!

Um, that would be d4, not $ (although the latter would come in handy right now). I shouldn't try to type before I've had coffee.

I am apparently a d8 - heroic! Also, reliable and predictable....

You are a d8: You are the true adventurer! Dragons rescued, princesses slayed, and all that business while O Fortuna plays in the background. Your social calender is crammed with heroic deeds, and you've personally saved the world from ultimate destruction at least twice. You are reliable, perhaps a bit predictable, but overall a shining example of what happens when courage meets determination.

Hmmm. . . . If that doesn't fit, I don't really know what does.

P.S. I hope I lived through the night. I also happen to hope the rest of you lived through the night.

I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you, Jay, but only three characters lived through the night: Lilyth, Thimble, and Houndhaven. Ironfist, Pisspot, Pippistrella, and the hireling were all killed by those blasted spiders. We left off with the three surviving characters barricaded in a room off the grand hallway. I assume that they will have to find a way to escape, and then travel to a town other than Null's Harbor, before the rest of us can work in new characters.

I'm D8 heroic as well, for all the good it did Pisspot.

It's no coincidence that two of the three survivors are d4 devious.

@Jay: For the record, we had instructed Duben to carry the monk's unconscious husk during our life or death retreat until it became clear that we only had one chance to make for the door...And both Thimble and Lilith had to drop items precious to them as well (Lilith had to drop a weapon and Thimble all her gold!) to even get a chance to make the door.

@Aeschere: Your analysis seems reasonable, but only if it is also fair to conclude that it's likewise no coincidence that those PCs who wrote the checks our party couldn't possibly cash didn't survive the night. ;)

Yes, the party did do its best to save its wounded monk, but things got very, very desperate. After Ironfist and Pisspot fell, Dubin dropped Pippistrella to defend the party, and was killed almost immediately. Although the three survivors are safe for the moment, they will still face a lot of danger as they try to escape the dungeon and the hill country.

@ Matt - my new character will definitely be less of a buffoon, and more of a thinker. He will most definitely not be in the real estate market.

(Read in commercial announcer voice) Are you having a tough day adventuring? Better have D-8! (End lame V-8 tomato drink reference)

As you may have guessed. I rolled a d-8 on the quiz.

What a bloody night you all had! Given the night the d-8'ers had, I think it might be better for me that I missed it... then again, maybe I should have been there to die and save Beric from having to remember what deity he follows. A certain water-logged deity is all he can think about right now.

You were definitely missed, Paul. I hope we can find a time for our next session that fits with your busy schedule right now!

This Tower of Witchspyre Hill is turning out to be a real meat grinder...
